TUDOR (Tudor / Tudor) was born in 1926 as a Rolex diffusion brand.
Tudor was taken from one of the British royal families who produced Elizabeth I, the "Tudor family", and had the Rolex headquarters. It is said that this name was given for the purpose of expanding the market in the United Kingdom.
Parts other than the movement are the same as Rolex, and there is no doubt that the quality is very high even if it is a diffusion brand.
Currently, we are developing as an independent Tudor brand, not as a diffusion brand.
This is the Submariner Ref.75090 released in 1989.
At that time, there were three models of the Submariner, the 39mm size 79090, the boys size 36mm 75090, and the 33mm 73090 called the mini sub.
There are two types, black and blue, respectively, and the blue model is nicknamed "blue sub".
The history of Tudor's Submariner began in 1954 and there are several models. This 75090 is the 3rd generation and is also the last model to use Rolex parts with Ref.75190.
With the end of the Submariner, Tudor did not use Rolex parts and switched to dedicated parts.
Models such as Pelagos and Black Bay, which are still in the lineup, were born after switching to dedicated parts.
The currently unused tritium luminous paint, the index of the type called "borderless" with no metal frame around it is a design unique to vintage divers.
At 12 o'clock on the dial, there is a shield mark that is also the current symbol of Tudor. The clasp part of the triple oyster breath also has a shield mark in the same way.
On the other hand, the back cover and crown have the Rolex crown mark.
In the case of Rolex, the Blue Submariner is a combination of stainless steel and gold (called "Roresol" in Rolex), or the lineup is only in 18K gold case.
The blue color of the stainless steel case is unique to Tudor, and because of its "borderless" vintage design, it has become particularly popular. Regarding
75090, one of the features is the middle size, which is not found in Rolex.
The bracelet is an oyster bracelet 9315. The top is a winding type, so it is very light. There are 11 frames, and one frame is included with the remainder.
Also, a warranty card, booklet, and box are included. (The box and booklet are for other models, so please consider them as a bonus.)
The movement equipped with is Cal.2824-2. Based on ETA 2824-2, it has a very good reputation for stability, robustness and ease of maintenance.

About Complete Service
Complete service, sometime called overhaul is the work of disassembling a mechanical product down to its individual parts, cleaning and reassembling it to bring it closer to its new state of performance.
Roughly speaking, the overhaul procedure is as follows.
1. Separate into case and movement
2. Disassemble the movement
3. Inspection and pre-cleaning of wear condition of each part
4. Wash parts with a special machine
5. Lubrication and assembly
6. Waterproof test
7. Final adjustment and running test.
Some movements are made up of hundreds of parts, but it is a very meticulous process of disassembling them one by one, inspecting them all, cleaning them, and reassembling them.
If you don't overhaul, the oil will deteriorate just like a car, and the risk of wear and damage to parts increases, causing a decrease in accuracy and, in severe cases, not working.
There is also the reason that it will be very expensive to replace parts after they are found to be damaged, so we recommend overhauling once every 2-3 years for economical and long-term use.
About Polishing
Vintage watches have been used for decades, and even the stainless steel used in many watches has rounded corners that were originally sharp, and has many small scratches even though the mirror finish should be beautiful. state.
At Arbitro, some watches are sold with a new finish, based on the idea that you can purchase them in beautiful condition and use them for a long time.
In particular, gold-cased dress watches are finished to bring out the best of the precious metal case.
The watches sold by us that have been given a new finish are shot in very high definition, so you can see that the edges stand out and the light is reflected by the mirror finish.
Also, depending on the case or bracelet, there are cases where multiple finishes such as mirror finish and hairline finish are mixed, but there are not many craftsmen who can distinguish between them and finish them at a high level.
In addition, the “thinness of the case” is also a part that is greatly influenced by the skill of the craftsman.
A watch that has become thinner and has thinner lugs is far from its original design, and the appearance becomes unbalanced.
It is a very precise work that brings the case closer to the original finish by eliminating scratches and dents while reducing the thickness of the case to the utmost limit.
Of course, there are cases where it is better to use the watch as it is, in order to emphasize the history of the watch and its original condition.
We look at each watch and judge whether it is best to finish it before selling it.
