Cellini is a dress line that is particular about elegance without using the Oyster case, which is also the biggest feature of Rolex.

Although it is not as well known as the dress line and sports models of Oyster cases such as Datejust, it has a long history and was born in 1928.

The name "Cerini" comes from a person named Benvenuto Cellini, an Italian engraver of the Renaissance period in the 16th century.

The fact that this Cellini is the only one in the Rolex collection that has the name of a particular person means that this Cellini has a unique standing position.

The material of the

case is Cellini, which is produced only in gold or platinum, but there are countless variations in the combination of the case, dial and hands.

This watch is a round case Ref.4112, manufactured in 1990. The

case is made of 18K white gold and has a very narrow edge design.

At first glance, it looks like a stainless steel case, and the point is that it is gold but not unpleasant. In addition, it is very thin because it uses a hand-wound 2-needle movement.

The

dial is a sunray-finished silver dial, and has changed to ivory over time. In sunlight, the silver feeling is a little stronger than in the photo.

Depending on the angle, dullness can be seen in the lower left of the center of the dial, between the letters of Cellini.
You can see it from the front, and you can't see it if you change the angle, but please be aware of that.

The needle is a thin silver-colored bar hand. If you look closely, it has a slightly chevron shape. The

index is the same bar type as the needle, but with a multi-faceted cut, it looks black depending on the angle.

Only the crown logo is applied (typesetting) so that you can casually identify it as a Rolex when exposed to light. The

movement is equipped with a hand-wound Cal.1601.

It comes with thin brown leather strap (Since the belt was used once when the wearing photo was taken, there are a few marks.)

The same 18K white gold genuine buckle as the case is attached.

Stainless steel buckles and gold-plated buckles are often seen, but WG innocence is rare.
