-Description

Cellini is a dress line that focuses on elegance and does not use an oyster case, which is Rolex's most distinctive feature.

Although it is less well-known than the Oyster case dress line and sports models such as the Datejust, it has a long history and was created in 1928.

Cellini is the only one in the Rolex collection that bears the name of a specific person, giving it a unique position.

This reference 3807 is a rare Tonneau type from Cellini, and it has a seamless design that even the rug is integrated. It was manufactured around 1978.

The case material is 18K yellow gold. A closer look at the case reveals that the surface is satin-finished in a radial pattern from the center, and the sides are polished. It is a dress watch with a subtle but fine attention to detail.

The dial is a champagne dial with sunray finish. The hands and indexes are the standard baton hands and bar indexes. The hands, indexes, and crown logo are all made of the same yellow gold as the case.

The movement is manual-wind Cal.1601, a minor update of the Cal.1600, a thin mechanical, robust and easy-to-maintain movement used not only in Cellini watches but also in ladies' models.

This is a very rare example that still has the seal on the caseback from when it was sold. It has not been polished to maintain its original condition.
